Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

High Voltage DC Lab Power Supplies are designed for applications that require a stable and regulated high-voltage DC source. They are suitable for use in research laboratories, industrial testing environments, capacitor testing, electronic experiments, and other applications where controlled DC voltage is essential. The series offers multiple output configurations ranging from 300V to 5000V, allowing users to select a model based on their required voltage and current capacity.

The series includes several models with different output ratings. Available configurations include 15–300V with current ratings up to 5A, 30–600V at 1.5A, 100–1000V at 1A, and high-voltage models ranging up to ±3000V at 0.05A and ±5000V at 0.02A. This variety makes the power supply series suitable for both higher-current laboratory applications and specialized high-voltage testing requirements.

Yes. All models operate with a constant-voltage and current-limiting characteristic. The output is designed to maintain regulated voltage during normal operation while limiting current under overload or short-circuit conditions. The supplies also provide electrically floating outputs, which can offer flexibility when integrating the unit into different laboratory and industrial test arrangements.

The High Voltage DC Lab Power Supply series includes protection against output short circuits and uses a current-limiting operating characteristic to help control overload conditions. A microswitch is also provided as a protection feature against shock. Because these are high-voltage power supplies, proper operating procedures, suitable connections, and appropriate safety precautions should always be followed during installation and use.

Yes. The High Voltage DC Lab Power Supply series is designed for 19-inch rack adaptability, making it suitable for organized laboratory and industrial test systems. Most models use a compact 3U-high, 133mm chassis, while the H0350 model has a larger height. The rack-compatible construction allows the power supply to be used as a laboratory bench unit or integrated into a dedicated equipment rack, depending on the application requirements.
