The Digital Psophometer 1072 Is A Portable Measurement Instrument Designed For Testing And Evaluating Telecommunication Equipment And Transmission Lines. It Combines A Compact Field-oriented Design With Sensitive And Accurate Measurement Capabilities, Making It Suitable For Telecommunications Testing Applications Where Reliable Noise And Signal Measurements Are Required.

The Instrument Incorporates A psophometric Filter Based On CCITT Recommendations, Providing The Required Frequency Response Characteristics For Weighted Measurements. It Also Supports Unweighted Measurements, Allowing Users To Evaluate Different Characteristics Of Telecommunications Signals And Transmission Systems.

Accurate Noise And Level Measurements

The Digital Psophometer 1072 Is Designed For The Measurement Of metallic Noise, Longitudinal Noise, Signal Level And Transmission Loss Over A Transmission Line. Its Measuring Range Extends From -90 DBm To 0 DBm, While The Minimum Measurable Value Is Specified As 10 μV (-98 DBm).

CCITT-Based Psophometric Measurement

For Weighted Measurements, The Instrument Provides A Frequency Response Based On CCITT Weighting Recommendations For Telephone Circuits. The Weighted Frequency Range Is Specified From 15 Hz To 6 KHz, While The Unweighted Frequency Range Extends From 15 Hz To 10 KHz.

Built-In Calibration Facility
