Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

The 2kW Regulated DC Power Supply is designed for applications that require a stable, adjustable, and closely regulated DC source. It is suitable for laboratory testing, product development, industrial testing, electronic equipment evaluation, and other applications where different combinations of DC voltage and current are required. The series provides up to 2000W output capacity and is available in multiple models ranging from high-current, low-voltage configurations to higher-voltage, lower-current configurations.

The High Power Digital Lab Series is available in several output configurations to suit different requirements. Model L1699 provides 0–16V at up to 100A, while Model L3260 offers 0–32V at up to 60A. Higher-voltage options include Model L6430 with 0–64V at 30A, Model L8025 with 0–80V at 25A, and Model L12815 with 0–128V at 15A. This range allows users to select an appropriate model according to their required voltage and current levels.

Yes. The power supply is designed to operate in both constant voltage (CV) and constant current (CC) modes. LED indicators show the active operating mode, while separate multi-turn potentiometers on the front panel allow adjustment of the voltage and current settings. The regulated design combines phase-controlled preregulation with linear post-regulation to provide stable output and close regulation during operation.

The 2kW DC Power Supply includes overload and short-circuit protection with constant-current operation. This helps protect the power supply and connected load during abnormal operating conditions. The unit also uses an MCB for input on/off control. Depending on the required configuration, over-voltage protection and additional analogue programming and monitoring features may also be available as optional features.

Yes. The unit is designed to be compatible with 19-inch rack mounting and has a 3U height, making it suitable for laboratory racks, industrial test systems, and integrated power setups. The approximate dimensions are 19 inches × 133mm × 650mm, with input and output terminals located on the rear side. Remote sensing is also provided to support applications where voltage-drop compensation at the load is required.
